All I seem to be drawing since we've been doing this London project is buildings. Maybe they are what sum up London to me: the way you will often find old, ornate buildings with beautiful brickwork next to a brand new, glass office block. I love it. I like how, often where the bottom floor of a building has been converted into an estate agents or a restaurant, the floors above have been left alone and still bear the marks of whatever the building was used for originally. I usually use just using a fine black pen, maybe adding colour later, when doodling buildings. I like to keep it simple, and that's where Sukie (above) come in. It was probably seeing something in Magma books that first made me aware of their stuff but I do think it could be a good influence. Their type's not bad either! :)
