In this workshop we were encouraged to think differently about the way we go about thinking of ideas, particularly at the beginning of a project. I had never really given much consideration to where my ideas come from or thought that there could be a method that is designed to generate ideas and make the process of doing so more productive. We had did a group exercise where we had a particular brief to work to. We applied the concepts from Edward de Bono's 'Lateral Thinking' to the task and although I found it quite annoying and difficult to do so in the first place it proved very helpful.
